Privacy, in plain language
HueNest does not require an account. Progress previews and completed images stay on your device. Subscription, installation-scoped progress, support, and advertising data are processed only for the purposes described below.
Who offers HueNest
HueNest is offered by the developer identified on the App Store as 辉 郭 (the “Developer”). This Privacy Policy applies to the HueNest app, its related online services, and this website.
Information we process
Local artwork and app data
HueNest stores app settings, catalog and artwork files, logical coloring progress, progress previews, completed images, Hint balances, and per-artwork watermark unlocks on your device. Progress previews, completed images, and exported images are not uploaded to the HueNest service or to advertising providers.
Installation identity and progress records
HueNest uses a randomly generated installation identifier and an authentication credential so the service can accept requests from the current installation. The credential is stored in this-device-only Keychain storage and may remain available to the same signed app after a same-device reinstall. It is not a HueNest account, and another installation or device cannot use it to access the original installation’s records.
When a local progress checkpoint is created, the service may receive an installation-scoped record containing the artwork identifier and version, filled-region state and sequence, selected color, progress counts, completion state, revision, and necessary timestamps. Pending updates may retry while the local data remains available. The authenticated installation can read its own records so HueNest can reconcile logical progress and History. If a same-device reinstall retains the original installation credential, HueNest may automatically recover the backend-confirmed logical progress and History for that installation.
This does not provide a HueNest account or cross-device progress service. A new installation or another device cannot read the old installation’s records. Progress previews, completed images, exported images, downloaded artwork resources, Hint state, and watermark unlocks are not returned by the progress service.
Network, security, and diagnostic data
HueNest and its infrastructure providers may process standard request data such as IP address, request time, route, response status, request identifier, rate-limit events, device and app version, and limited error diagnostics. This data is used to deliver content, secure the service, prevent abuse, investigate failures, and maintain reliability. Apple may provide crash or performance information according to your device analytics settings.
Subscription and purchase data
Apple processes HueNest Premium payments. To determine entitlement and reconcile purchases, HueNest receives and verifies Apple-signed transaction and renewal information, including product, status, purchase and expiration times, environment, transaction-chain identifiers, refund or revocation state, and billing-grace information where applicable. HueNest associates the verified entitlement with the current installation. HueNest does not receive your full payment-card details or Apple Account password.
Support communications
If you contact Support, HueNest processes your email address, message, and any diagnostic details you choose to provide so the Developer can respond and investigate the issue.
This website
This website does not run analytics or tracking scripts, set cookies, or use forms. The hosting provider may still process standard HTTP request and security logs, including IP address and request time, to deliver and protect the site.
Photos and completed images
When you choose Save, HueNest asks for the minimum permission needed to add the finished image to Photos. HueNest does not read or upload your photo library. Save and Share create export copies on your device; any Free-user watermark is added only to that export copy and does not alter the original completed image.
Advertising and consent
HueNest 2.0 uses TopOn to provide ads through AdMob, and Google User Messaging Platform to manage advertising consent where applicable. These providers may process device or advertising identifiers, IP-derived general location, device information, consent choices, ad requests, impressions, clicks, reward events, fraud signals, product interactions, and crash or performance data. The exact data available depends on your region, consent choice, device settings, Apple permission, ad format, and the providers’ active configuration.
Where App Tracking Transparency applies, HueNest asks before permitting access to identifiers used to track activity across other companies’ apps or websites. Declining does not necessarily remove all ads; providers may still deliver contextual or limited ads. An active Premium entitlement suppresses app-open, interstitial, banner, and comparable passive ads. Premium users may still explicitly request a rewarded ad for additional Hints.
HueNest does not send artwork images, completed images, filled-region progress, Hint target regions, Apple transaction identifiers, or local watermark-unlock records to advertising providers. A Hint reward or watermark unlock is granted only after the ad SDK reports the matching rewarded-ad completion.
How information is used
- Deliver the live artwork catalog and secure artwork files.
- Accept, order, return, and reconcile installation-scoped progress records.
- Verify purchases, restore Premium entitlement, and reconcile subscription status.
- Request, display, measure, and protect advertising and rewarded-ad benefits.
- Operate security controls, rate limits, diagnostics, and support.
- Meet legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, and dispute-resolution obligations.
Sharing and service providers
Information is disclosed only as needed to operate HueNest, provide a service you request, protect the service, or comply with law. Provider categories include hosting, content delivery, database and object storage, security, diagnostics, subscription processing, consent management, and advertising.
- Apple processes purchases, subscriptions, refunds, and App Store services.
- TopOn and AdMob provide advertising inventory and related measurement or fraud controls.
- Google User Messaging Platform manages advertising consent choices where used.
- Cloudflare and other infrastructure providers help deliver and protect the website and online services.
HueNest does not sell your artwork images, completed images, installation-scoped progress records, or Support messages. Advertising providers may process permitted ad and device data for advertising, measurement, security, and related purposes under their own terms and your applicable choices.
Retention and deletion
Artwork progress, previews, and completed images
Logical progress, History state, progress previews, completed-image snapshots, and generated export copies are stored in local app data. Delete removes those items for the selected artwork. Restart replaces its progress with a new zero-percent revision and removes its earlier progress previews, completed-image snapshot, and generated export copy. Neither action removes the downloaded artwork resources.
Downloaded artwork resources
Downloaded artwork resources remain on the device after Delete or Restart. HueNest does not currently provide a separate in-app control for removing them. They are removed when app removal or the operating system clears the app container.
Hint balances
Base Hint usage and rewarded Hint grants and usage are stored as local daily quota state. Free users receive two base Hints per device-local day and active Premium users receive five. A completed Hint reward adds two uses for that same local day. Base and rewarded balances do not carry into a later local day; HueNest resets the daily state when it observes the new day. A same-day entitlement change recalculates the base allowance but does not retroactively remove an unspent rewarded balance. Delete and Restart for an artwork do not remove Hint quota state. Clearing local app data or removing the app removes that local state.
Watermark unlocks
A confirmed rewarded-ad watermark unlock remains in the local Application Support ledger for the same artwork ID and version. Delete or Restart for the artwork does not remove that unlock, and HueNest provides no ordinary in-app action for deleting it. The unlock is removed when the app’s Application Support data is removed, including when app removal clears the app container. It is not recovered after reinstalling or moving to another device.
A same-device reinstall may still find the this-device-only installation credential in Keychain. That credential can authorize automatic recovery of backend-confirmed logical progress and History for the same installation, but it does not recover progress previews, completed images, exported images, downloads, Hint state, or watermark unlocks.
Progress updates and deletion markers
The service may retain installation-scoped progress records for consistency, security, and operation of the progress-update service. Choosing Delete for an artwork sends a deletion marker for that installation and artwork. Restart sends a newer zero-percent revision and does not preserve the earlier progress as a user-accessible history.
A deletion marker may remain in the service to prevent an older submitted revision from reappearing as current progress. HueNest does not currently publish a fixed retention schedule for progress records or deletion markers, and there is no in-app control that physically removes those service records. Uninstalling HueNest does not itself send a server-side deletion request.
Subscriptions, advertising, and Support
Verified subscription records may be retained as reasonably needed for entitlement reconciliation, refunds, fraud prevention, accounting, support, and legal obligations. Advertising and consent providers retain data under their own policies and active configurations. Support communications are kept as long as reasonably needed to answer the request, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
Your choices
- Use Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt and applicable consent controls.
- Manage or cancel Premium in Apple Account subscription settings.
- Use Restore Purchases to recover an active Apple subscription entitlement; this does not restore artwork data.
- Use Delete or Restart in HueNest for the current artwork as described above.
- Choose whether to Save or Share a completed image.
- Contact the Developer with a privacy request or question.
Because HueNest has no user account, an email address alone may not identify installation-scoped records. The Developer may need information reasonably necessary to locate and verify a request without asking for passwords, signed transactions, or access tokens.
Security
HueNest uses transport encryption, access controls, limited service credentials, environment separation, and other safeguards appropriate to the information processed. No transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
International processing
Service providers may process information in countries or regions other than where you live. Where required, appropriate safeguards are used for those transfers.
Children’s privacy
HueNest does not knowingly ask children to create profiles or provide names or contact details. If you believe a child has submitted personal information through Support, contact the Developer for review.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when HueNest, its service providers, or legal requirements change. The revised policy will be posted here with an updated date and any additional notice required by applicable law.
