How can we help?

Clear answers about the online artwork library, Premium, Hints, advertising, saved images, and your local coloring progress.

Using HueNest

Why does HueNest need an internet connection?

HueNest uses a live online artwork library. A connection is required to browse the library and to confirm an artwork’s current version before you start or continue coloring it.

If the connection drops after the canvas is already open, HueNest continues local checkpoints. Pending installation-scoped progress updates may retry while that local data remains. The same authenticated installation can also read backend-confirmed records to reconcile logical progress and History. This does not provide an account or cross-device recovery, and the service does not return previews, completed images, exported images, downloads, Hint state, or watermark unlocks.

How are Hints counted?

Free users receive two base Hints per device-local calendar day; active Premium users receive five. Base Hints reset each day and do not carry forward.

When the balance reaches zero and a valid target exists, tapping Hint directly requests an optional rewarded ad. A confirmed reward adds two Hint uses and HueNest may immediately use one for the Hint you requested. Closing, canceling, or failing to complete the ad grants no reward and consumes no Hint. Both Free and Premium users can choose this rewarded option.

Why am I seeing an ad?

Free users may see app-open, interstitial, or banner ads only at HueNest’s defined moments and locations. Active Premium suppresses these passive ads. Rewarded ads are different: they appear only after you explicitly request one for extra Hints or, when offered, to remove an export watermark.

Advertising inventory is not guaranteed. If an optional rewarded ad is unavailable or incomplete, no reward is granted.

Premium & billing

What does Premium include?

Weekly, monthly, and yearly plans provide the same Premium benefits: five base Hints each day, no passive app-open, interstitial, or banner ads, and watermark-free completed-image exports while Premium is active. Premium does not unlock extra artwork. Apple shows the current local price and offer eligibility before you confirm a purchase.

How do I cancel or restore Premium?

Manage or cancel HueNest Premium in your Apple Account subscription settings. Deleting HueNest does not cancel a subscription.

If Apple shows an active HueNest subscription but Premium is not available, choose Restore Purchases in HueNest. This restores only the Apple subscription entitlement—it does not restore local artwork progress, completed images, Hint balances, downloads, or watermark unlocks. Eligible logical progress and History recovery for the same installation is a separate automatic process.

What if a purchase is pending or still synchronizing?

A purchase may remain pending while Apple awaits approval or finishes processing it. HueNest grants Premium only after Apple verifies the transaction and the entitlement is accepted. Do not repeatedly buy the same plan while that status is unresolved. Check your Apple purchase history, try Restore Purchases after Apple completes the transaction, and contact Support if Apple shows it as active but HueNest still does not.

What if I see an unexpected or duplicate charge?

Apple processes HueNest subscription charges. Review your Apple purchase history first. If a charge appears more than once or you do not recognize it, use Apple’s Report a Problem to report the charge or request a refund. Apple decides refund eligibility under its policies and applicable law.

Artwork & local data

Why does a saved image have a watermark?

Free exports include a HueNest watermark. You can keep it or, when offered, explicitly choose a rewarded ad to remove it for that specific artwork version in the current local installation data. Active Premium exports without a watermark while Premium remains active.

A rewarded watermark unlock is not transferred to another device or recovered after HueNest is deleted or reinstalled. Even if a same-device installation credential remains in Keychain, it does not recover the local unlock record.

What happens when I save to Photos?

HueNest asks for permission to add a finished image to Photos only after you choose Save. HueNest does not read or upload your photo library. Save and Share create export copies on your device; any Free-user watermark is added only to the exported copy.

What do Delete and Restart remove?

Both actions use two confirmation steps. Delete removes the selected artwork’s local progress, History state, and derived previews, and sends a deletion marker for that installation and artwork. The downloaded artwork resources remain on the device.

Restart replaces the current progress with a new zero-percent revision. The earlier progress is not kept as a version you can return to, and the downloaded artwork resources remain.

What returns after reinstalling HueNest?

Restore Purchases can recover an active Apple subscription entitlement, and nothing else. Separately, if a same-device reinstall retains the original installation credential, HueNest can automatically retrieve backend-confirmed logical progress and rebuild History for that same installation.

This does not recover progress previews, completed images, exported images, downloads, rewarded Hint balances, or per-artwork watermark unlocks. A new installation or another device cannot retrieve the old installation’s progress. The retained credential is not an account.

Contact

What should I include in a support message?

Email gh111133@163.com with your HueNest version, iOS or iPadOS version, device model, the screen you were using, and a short description of what happened.

Never send passwords, private keys, access tokens, Apple transaction identifiers, receipts, or signed download links. Support may ask for limited additional information reasonably needed to investigate.
